Online Entry Form

After reading Montooth and the Canfield Witch and Montooth 2: Race for the Ryland Ruby, complete the survey below and include your suggestion for a plot or character development to be incorporated into Montooth 3, as yet untitled.

Competition deadline: December 31, 2011, 11:59 EST for online entries and postmarks by that date for mailed entries.

Entry Criteria:

1)      Based on Montooth and the Canfield Witch and Montooth 2: Race for the Ryland Ruby, enter a suggestion for a character or plot development that you would like to see incorporated into Montooth 3.  There is no restriction on content, but keep in mind that judges will consider logical consistency with characters’ personalities and behavior from the first two books, with the era (mid-Fifties), and with the direction of the character’s lives.

2)      A maximum of thirty (30) words – entries with more than 30 words will be ineligible.

3)      Your entry must include a librarian’s name and library location.  The librarian whose name appears on the winning entry will also have his or her name given to a character in Montooth 3.  If your entry arrives without this information, it will be ruled ineligible and not considered.

4)      If more than one entrant provides the same winning concept, the judges will select the first such entry received.

5)      The tentatively selected winning entrant must sign an assignment of authorship rights to the publisher so that the idea can be put into the book.  If the entrant is under eighteen years old, a parent or legal guardian must also sign.

6)      No employees or relatives of employees of the publisher, Cloverleaf Corporation, or author, Robert Jay, are eligible.
